Scripture:
“He was put to death in the body but made alive in the Spirit.” — 1 Peter 3:18–19
Jesus is in the tomb. The world is quiet. Despair whispers. But even in the silence, God is not absent—He is working in the unseen.
Reflection:
Our people know what it means to wait in the dark. To groan under slavery, segregation, and systemic racism, wondering if change will ever come. But Saturday reminds us that God is never idle. Resurrection is coming. In the waiting, we are refined.
Two Things to Do Today:
Prayer:
God of silence and stillness, teach us to trust You in the waiting. Remind us that even in the tomb, You are working. Prepare our hearts for resurrection. Amen.
