God’s Mighty Women on Mission

 

“The Lord announces the word, and the women who proclaim it are a mighty throng.”
— Psalm 68:11 (NIV)


From the beginning, God has invited women to play vital roles in His redemptive work. Whether it was Deborah, who led Israel with wisdom and courage; Mary, who carried the Savior of the world; or the faithful women at the tomb, who first proclaimed the resurrection of Christ, Scripture consistently affirms that women are called, empowered, and entrusted to advance the Kingdom.
Psalm 68:11 reminds us that women are not sidelined spectators in God’s mission. They are part of a mighty multitude—bold proclaimers of His Word, leaders in their communities, nurturers of faith, and bearers of His truth. God delights to use the gifts, voices, and leadership of women to fulfill His purposes on earth.


In today’s church, the mission of God continues through faithful women who teach, serve, lead, nurture, and proclaim the good news. Their obedience shapes families, churches, and communities for His glory.

Life Principles to Remember:
1. God’s call has no gender limitations.Throughout Scripture, God uses willing hearts—male or female—to accomplish His divine purposes.


2. When women walk in their calling, the whole church is strengthened.The gifts God places in women build up the body of Christ and advance His mission with power and grace.

Prayer:
Heavenly Father,
Thank You for inviting all Your children—both men and women—into Your great mission. Thank You for the mighty women of faith who proclaim Your Word and serve Your people. Strengthen every woman You have called to lead, teach, nurture, and proclaim the gospel. May they walk boldly in the gifts You’ve given them, and may the church honor their contributions as we work together for Your Kingdom. Help us all to see the beauty of Your design and the power of unity in the body of Christ.
