Saturday , March 15, 2025 - Lent Day 10: The Righteous Cry Out

Lent is a 40-day period of prayer, fasting, and almsgiving that begins on Ash Wednesday and ends at sundown on Holy Thursday, excluding Sundays, which are considered celebrations of Christ's Resurrection.

 

Scripture: Psalm 34:17 (NIV)
"The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles."

Reflection:
God is not distant from our struggles. He hears the cries of the righteous and moves to deliver them. If you are weary, know that Jesus understands. If you see injustice, do not grow silent—God hears and acts.

 

Prayer:
Lord, hear the cries of the weary and the oppressed. Let me be a voice of hope and an agent of Your justice in the world. Amen.
