3 Days of Prayer & Fasting for our Nation.
Day 3
Verse for the Day
Moses my servant is dead; now therefore arise, go over this Jordan, thou, and all this people, unto the land which I do give to them, even to the children of Israel. Every place that the sole of your foot shall tread upon, that have I given unto you, as I said unto Moses. From the wilderness and this Lebanon even unto the great river, the river Euphrates, all the land of the Hittites, and unto the great sea toward the going down of the sun, shall be your coast. There shall not any man be able to stand before thee all the days of thy life: as I was with Moses, so I will be with thee: I will not fail thee, nor forsake thee. - Joshua 1:2-5
Quote for the Day
“Progress is impossible without change, and those who cannot change their minds cannot change anything.”
-George Bernard Shaw
Word for the Day
Today marks a change in national leadership with the inauguration of the 46th president of United States. It is one of the hallmarks of democracy in our nation, a peaceful transfer of power.Perhaps all of us can be humble and grateful for any opportunity given to serve as a leader in any capacity. We should be prayerful today that the Almighty God will continue to be with us, and that God’s grace and mercy would be upon our new president.
Prayer for the Day
Eternal Father, I pray that You will give every leader strength, so they do not grow weary in their leadership role. Father, the tasks may seem overwhelming and exhausting, but I pray that every leader will recognize that they are assigned to do Your will. Therefore, I know that at the right time, they will reap the harvest if they do not give up. Lord, I pray for divine strength for every leader and that they will not rely on themselves, but on You. In Jesus Name, Amen.
