Scripture: Isaiah 41:10 (NIV)
"So do not fear, for I am with you… I will strengthen you and help you."
Song: Negro Spiritual – “He’s Got the Whole World in His Hands”
He’s got the whole world in His hands… He’s got you and me, brother, in His hands.
Reflection:
Justice work can be overwhelming. The problems are big, and we often feel small. But God says: Fear not. You are not alone in this work—He holds you, sustains you, strengthens you. When you stand for justice, you stand with God. Do not fear the battle; He fights alongside those who defend the oppressed.
Prayer:
Lord, when fear rises, let faith rise higher. Remind me that You hold the whole world—including the broken parts—in Your hands. Amen.
