Scripture: Ezekiel 36:26 (NIV)
"I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh."
Song: Hispanic Christian Song – “Renueva Mi Ser”
Spanish:
Renueva mi ser, Señor Jesús,
Ya no quiero ser igual.
English:
Renew my being, Lord Jesus,
I don’t want to be the same.
Reflection:
We can’t pursue justice with hardened hearts. God wants to soften us—to break through apathy and transform us into people who feel deeply and act boldly. Let Lent be a heart surgery.
Prayer:
Lord, give me a new heart. Remove my indifference, soften my spirit, and stir in me a passion for justice. Amen.
