Dear Friendship Member,
As a valued member of the Friendship family, I appreciate your commitment to our ministry and the various activities of the church. The spiritual and physical health of you and your family is apriority to us.

In the current environment, it’s important for all of us to engage in public gatherings in a smarter and more conscious way regarding our health. That’s why I want to personally update you on the situation with COVID-19 (the coronavirus) and the steps we are taking to ensure your health and safety while participating in activities at the church. I’ve attached important information from the Federal Government concerning coronavirus precautions, please read carefully and practice the CDC recommendations at work, church, home and travel. Here at Friendship, we will do the following:

  • Discontinue our fellowship moments (handshaking, hugs, etc.) in public worship and bible study until this situation is resolved
  • We will postpone the start of our Senior Adult Monday ministry until further notice.
  • Discontinue food service for large ministry groups until the pandemic is downgraded.
  • Disinfect all doorknobs and handles daily throughout the facility until this situation is resolved
  • Disinfect all tables in MPR and Gym daily until this situation is resolved.
  • Make Hand Sanitizer available throughout the facility in the vestibule, gym, office and restrooms.
  • Lord’s Supper will be served in self-enclosed cups at both services. (premade with bread and juice in a protected cup for individual use)
  • The Lord’s supper will be served by Deacons, Ministers who will all wear health/safety gloves while serving the cups to members.
  • We will begin online bible study on Wednesdays at noon and in the evening.
  • We will encourage online participation using our cellphone app and our computer website, both of which are free of charge.
  • We will increase online and electronic opportunities for tithes and offerings to continue support of our ministry and our ministry work.

Text messaging will be a primary means of devotionals and church communication. Please report to us any concerns with regards to our worship practices, ministry events or facility cleanliness. We care about your health both spiritually and physically. Let us pray for and with each other and our nation during this health crisis.
