Spring Planning and Evaluation Meeting - March 10-12th, 2025

Greetings Officers, Pastors, and Members,
We are looking forward to a very spirit-filled gathering as we meet for the MBSCM in Springfield, Missouri, March 10-12, 2025.
President Bowie and Staff have planned a full agenda that, we pray, will be informative and fulfilling.

• The host hotel is University Plaza Hotel & Convention Center located at 333 South John Q
Hammons Pkwy Springfield, MO 65806 . Check-in time is 4:00p.m. and check-out time is
11:00a.m. Make your room reservation online at University Plaza Hotel & Convention
Center or by calling (417) 864-7333. The convention rate is $130.00 per night plus taxes
(breakfast included). Make your reservation by February 24th to receive this rate.
Remember to use code MBSC. After February 24th, regular rates will apply.

• Our host church is Washington Avenue Baptist Church, located at 1722 N. National
Avenue, Springfield, MO 65803 where Reverend Terrence Tate is the host pastor.

Monday, March 10th
Registration opens at 12:00p at the church until 3:00p and registration reopen at 5:00p.
Officers meeting with President Bowie at 1:00p. Congress of Christian Education Board Meeting
at 2:00p. Conventional Informational Meeting at 3:30p. Welcome Musical Program hosted by
Rev. Tate and Moderator Rufus Kelly of the Southwest District.

Tuesday, March 11th
Registration opens at 7:30a
Springboard Opening - 8:00a; Auxiliaries - 8:30 to 10:00a; General Session - 10:30a; Fellowship
Luncheon - 12:00p; President's Meeting with Pastors and Ministers - 2:00p - 4:00p; Auxiliary
Planning - 2:00p - 5:00p; Worship Service 7:00p.

Wednesday, March 12th
Auxiliaries/Division Period - 8:00 - 10:00a; General Session 10:15a; Closing of Session and
Benediction - President Bowie.

Assessments can now be paid in two or three payments - December's Winter Board
Meeting, March's Spring Board Meeting, and the balance at the 3rd Annual Joint Session in
July 2025. We desire that every church can participate in and support the Convention.
*If you are paying your annual assessment in 3 payments, please follow the schedule listed
above.
