And one cried unto another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, is the Lord of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory.

Isaiah 6:3

I'm still in awe of God's glory and how God moved this week as we gathered at The Healthy Church Conference at Friendship. Experiencing God's glory leaves one humbled yet ready to serve in whatever way God leads. God's glory speaks to the essence of who God is. It describes his character, power and presence. And like Isaiah it is an exhilarating, inexpressible and unforgettable encounter. We need a glimpse of God's glory.

Isaiah notes that his encounter with the Divine was at a definitive moment in human history, "the year King Uzziah died". King Uzziah's reign was comparable to the glory days of Solomon. But what would the nation do now that their great King Uzziah had died?

The Prophet says, "I saw the Lord..."

And in our own misguided way we often find ourselves focusing on the wrong things, depending on the wrong resources and trusting in unreliable things. We need to see the Lord.

In your daily struggle be encouraged in knowing that there is One who "sits on the throne"!  In fact we need to see, hear, smell and feel the glory of God all around us.  Isaiah says, that he heard voices shouting in adoration before God's throne. In repetitive  praise they sang the refrain, 'Holy, Holy, Holy"!

And then Isaiah heard what we need to hear today...."the whole earth is filled with His glory"!

May you experience God's Glory and be humbled and encouraged to serve Him!
